About Me

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by my site. Originally from Winston-Salem, NC, my love for theatre flourished while growing up thanks in part to my incredibly talented, arts-loving grandparents. Fondly known as “Honey and Papo,” they both trained in opera at The Juilliard School in NYC, and were introduced to one another by their mutual friend, Burl Ives. Their mutual love of people and curating artistic communities is what I carry with me in my own artistic journey.

Currently, I am on faculty at UNC Chapel Hill as Teaching Assistant Professor in the Department of Dramatic Arts, as well as a resident company member with Playmakers Repertory Theatre.

I've been so fortunate as an actor, director, and educator, to have 25 years of professional experience in theatre across the globe. My fascination with the complexities of human behavior, particularly in challenging circumstances, drives my passion for acting and directing, while rooted in principles of equity, activism, and human rights.

When I'm not busy teaching, performing, or directing, you'll find me traveling and exploring new places and food, going on adventures with friends and family, and playing ball with my favorite girl, my pup Penny Lane.
